Up is the New Down

Well, it seems our little Ducky is quite the gymnast. After successfully turning head down a few weeks back, she has decided once again that it's better topside. We discovered this at our last midwives visit on Tuesday. Since we are coming down to the wire (our due date is only three weeks away) one of the widwives made an appointment for an external version on Tuesday. So we have a week to try to coerce our wee girl to turn without a somewhat scary medical procedure.

We were recommended to see a chiropractor that specializes in treating breach babies. Dr. Berlin is incredibly motivated and really is going out of his way to help us flip the duckling. He is seeing us outside of his normal office hours and is even coming in on a Saturday for us. The treatments consist of chiropractic adjustments of the sacrum, massage of the tendons and muscles around the uterus, acupuncture and moxibustion. One his partners, Jason took the needles to devoted mom. Between treatments, Mom has resumed her inversion at home and we are doing the nightly moxibustion as well. Think head down thoughts! We will keep you posted...
